The LiftMaster MATDCBB3 Mega Arm Tower Gate Operator is a heavy-duty DC-powered barrier gate operator designed for high-traffic parking and access-control applications. Powered by a 24VDC motor with a 1/2 HP equivalent, it provides exceptional starting torque and continuous operation while supporting up to 6,000 cycles per day. The MATDCBB3 uses a state-of-the-art universal electronics control board that eliminates the need for mechanical limit switches, relays, and contactors. Instead, arm position is controlled by a magnet mounted on the drive shaft and sensed by two magnetic sensors on the electronics controller. Its full-service controller accepts inputs from telephone entry systems, loop detectors, card readers, push buttons, and barcode scanners, while multiple vehicle memory buffers provide additional flexibility for parking-control applications. Built-in regulated 24VDC backup power is also available for accessories such as detectors, receivers, and card readers. Additional features include a built-in radio receiver, soft start/stop, right- or left-handed operation, breakaway arm capability, inherent obstruction sensing, LED indicators, dual-gate operation, dynamic braking, magnetic sensors, and Timer to Close.
