The LiftMaster Wireless Keypad provides a modern and streamlined access-control solution designed for residential gates and smaller commercial door and gate applications. Built for reliable performance in demanding outdoor environments, the KPW5 works exclusively with Security+ 2.0 operators manufactured after 2012. It supports 5 permanent PINs and 10 unique temporary PINs, with temporary PINs programmable for 1 to 9 uses. Individual PINs can also be removed without affecting access for other users. Designed for rugged outdoor use, the KPW5 features fully sealed electronics that meet NEMA 4X water protection requirements, a high-impact polycarbonate front cover, and a fully enclosed internal antenna for added protection against vandalism and the elements. Its blue backlit metal keypad provides easy operation in low-light conditions, while an industry-leading 5-year lithium battery improves cold-weather performance based on 25 activations per day. The keypad can be easily surface mounted or installed on a standard pedestal for flexible placement. Programming is protected by a 6-digit Master Code to help prevent unauthorized access to the system. The Master Code and a PIN must be established before programming the keypad to the gate operator, and the keypad provides audible error notifications for invalid codes, duplicate PINs, or when the maximum number of PINs has been reached.
