At ecFence Systems, we’re on a mission to save trees and fight deforestation—one metal fence at a time.
Mitchael started in the trenches—literally. With over 15 years of hands-on experience as a metal fabricator and fence installer, he’s dug, drilled, and built it all. Along the way, he saw the same frustrations over and over again: zero price transparency, unreliable contractors, and limited options that failed to balance affordability, durability, and great design. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit and love for nature, Mitchael teamed up with Heidi—a strategic leader with a passion for sustainability and a knack for turning vision into reality. Together, they created ecFence: a metal fencing system engineered for today’s lifestyle, tomorrow’s planet. With clean lines, durable materials, accessible pricing, and a mission to preserve the natural world, ecFence is more than just a product—it’s a promise to build better. Fencing, The Easy Way. (with the bonus of a better future).
ecFence is a modular aluminum-zinc-coated metal privacy fence system designed for residential and commercial use. It’s a modern, low-maintenance alternative to wood fencing and PVC/vinyl fencing — engineered to resist rot, corrosion, cracking, warping, and UV fading in high-heat, high-humidity climates like Florida and the Gulf Coast. The system includes ecPanels, ecStarter profiles, ecSeam Covers, ecCorner Covers, and ecEnd Covers — all precision-engineered to interlock cleanly without specialty tools.
Homeowners who want a durable, modern privacy fence without the repainting and replacing every few years. Fence installers and contractors who want a system that goes up faster than wood or vinyl, with fewer callbacks. Fence distributors who want a metal fencing product with real, growing demand across Florida and South Florida.
ecFence panels are engineered for high-wind resistance, making them well-suited for hurricane-prone regions including South Florida, Miami-Dade County, and coastal areas. The aluminum-zinc alloy coating handles UV exposure and Florida heat without warping or degrading over time. For specific wind-load ratings or jurisdiction requirements, engineered plans with sealed drawings are available. Contact us or your distributor for documentation.
Full. The solid panel design has no gaps, no sightlines, and no see-through sections. Once installed, the fence creates a complete visual barrier from ground to top rail. What’s in your yard stays in your yard.
ecFence backs the panel system with a 25-year limited warranty. Trim and post components are also covered. Full warranty terms, including component-specific durations, will be published when the program is finalized — ec-fence.com/warranty/.
ecFence outlasts both. The aluminum-zinc-coated metal panels won't rot or warp — wood will, and vinyl only partly holds up. They won't fade in the sun, while both wood and vinyl lose their color over time. They're built for hurricanes where wood and vinyl come up short, they're recyclable, and upkeep is just an occasional rinse — not the staining, sealing, and replacing wood demands or the washing and replacing vinyl needs. Over the long run, that adds up to low cost for ecFence versus high for both alternatives. Bottom line: ecFence metal panels don't rot, don't crack, and don't yellow — they don't care about South Florida weather.
Yes. The interlocking panel-assembly technology is protected under U.S. Patent 11,066,846 B1.
